This program is located in a region bordered by the Catamayo and Puyango river basins, between 1,300 and 6,000 feet (400 and 1800 meters) above sea level.  It focuses on the protection and rehabilitation of the natural resources and biodiverstiy in the dry forests of southwestern Ecuador.  We especially seek to foster local participation in the area in order to develop long lasting programs that ensure the continued conservation of this ecosystem.
