The Southern Andes Program
.jpg)
Arcoiris' Southern Andes Program includes ecosystems high in the Andes of Podocarpus National Park, as well as in the park's less extreme areas. Arcoiris has established three interconnected areas in this zone, with the purpose of ensuring the ecosystem's functionality and the safety of vulnerable species of flora and fauna. These fragile ecosystems provide fresh water to the nearby populations of Loja and Zamora, and also help regulate the air quality of the region.
