The Southern Amazon Program

The Arcoiris Foundation works for the conservation of tropical rain forest ecosystems located in the provinces of Morona Santiago and Zamora Chinchipe in the South of Ecuador. The three most important areas at the moment are the Cutucú Mountain Range, the Condor Mountain Range, and the High River Basin of the Nangaritza River. Our actions seek to integrate the active participation of the community with the local government. Also a priority is the maintenance of the culutres of the indigenous Shuar and Achuar peoples.
